Kiara Advani Won’t Feature in Prabhas’ Salaar 2

Mumbai: Speculations had been swirling about Bollywood star Kiara Advani’s involvement in a special song in Prabhas’ upcoming film, Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam. There were even rumors suggesting that Kiara might step into the leading lady role, possibly replacing Shruti Haasan in the action-packed franchise’s second installment.

Reports hinted at Kiara’s excitement upon being approached for the project, eager to collaborate with Prabhas. However, insider sources close to the film’s production have debunked these rumors, clarifying that Kiara is not part of the project.

A source familiar with the film’s production shared, “Director Prashanth Neel is currently finalizing shooting schedules, and there are no significant changes expected in the lead cast for now. As for Kiara Advani, she was not approached for the role.” Salaar 2 is set to delve into the political dynamics of Khansaar, focusing on the transformation of Prabhas and Prithviraj’s friendship into a bitter enmity.

Kiara Advani’s South Film Ventures

While Kiara Advani is recognized for her commendable acting prowess, director Prashanth Neel reportedly felt that she wasn’t the right fit for the character, leading to her exclusion from the casting considerations. Currently, Kiara’s only South Indian project is the Shankar-directed film, “Game Changer”, starring Ram Charan. Nonetheless, the actress has expressed interest in collaborating with other prominent stars from the South Indian film industry.
