Jerusalem: Amidst heightened tensions, Israel’s chief military spokesperson disclosed on Sunday that France played a significant role in aiding Israel’s defense against an Iranian attack.
“France has very good technology, jets, radar – and I know they were contributing in patrolling airspace,” the spokesperson stated, acknowledging France’s assistance in thwarting the attack. However, the spokesperson noted uncertainty regarding the specific Iranian missiles intercepted by French aircraft, as reported by Reuters.

The escalation occurred when Iran launched an airborne assault towards Israel on Saturday, marking a significant development in the enduring conflict between the two nations.
“Iran launched UAVs from its territory towards the territory of the state of Israel,” declared Israel’s military spokesman Daniel Hagari in a televised statement.
