Sharjah has unveiled a new mosque designed to accommodate up to 1,500 worshipers, catering to the religious needs of the local community. Named the Al Duaa Mosque, the newly opened religious facility is situated in the Al Falaj area within the Al Raqqa suburb, according to reports from the state news agency Wam.

Spanning an area of 5,058 square meters, the mosque boasts an impressive architectural design featuring a circular dome and two towering minarets standing at 30 meters in height each. It encompasses essential prayer amenities, including a spacious prayer hall, as well as additional service facilities such as ablution areas, restrooms, parking spaces, and accommodations for the imam and the muezzin.

The inauguration of the Al Duaa Mosque aligns with the emirate’s Ramadan plan, further enhancing the religious infrastructure available to residents during the holy month and beyond.
