While these detainees are not believed to be the direct perpetrators of the attack, they are suspected of providing crucial assistance to the individuals behind the bombing targeting Chinese nationals. Authorities have indicated that some of the arrested individuals have connections with Pakistani militant groups. The suspects are currently undergoing intensive interrogation, and further raids are being carried out as part of the ongoing investigation.

Officials, who preferred to remain anonymous, disclosed that several of the arrested suspects were involved in transporting an explosive-laden vehicle to Shangla, a district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. It was here that a suicide bomber detonated the vehicle, resulting in the tragic deaths of the Chinese workers.
