Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s Record-Breaking Film: Shot in Just 29 Days

Chennai: In an era where filmmakers often invest considerable time in production, Telugu actor Chiranjeevi defied the norm by completing shooting for a movie in a mere 29 days during the 80s, leading to a monumental success. Known for his prolific output, Chiranjeevi’s efficiency set a new benchmark in the industry.

The film, “Intlo Ramayya Veedilo Krishnayya”, directed by the legendary Kodi Ramakrishna and starring Madhavi as the female lead, achieved blockbuster status upon its release in 1982. This remarkable accomplishment not only secured Chiranjeevi’s place as a top-tier actor but also propelled the movie into various remakes across different languages, including Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.

Initially hesitant to undertake the role, Chiranjeevi ultimately embraced the character of Rajasekharam, a civil engineer entangled in a complex narrative of love and betrayal. Despite his initial reservations, his portrayal garnered widespread acclaim, underscoring his versatility as an actor.

The filming primarily took place in Palakollu and its environs, with pivotal scenes filmed in Chiranjeevi’s own residence and the picturesque landscapes of Antervedi. The narrative unfolds as Rajasekharam confronts adversities orchestrated by his scheming neighbor, Subba Rao, portrayed by Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, to safeguard his family and love.
