In an interview broadcasted on state television on Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin asserted that Russia’s nuclear triad, encompassing weaponry deployable via land, sea, and air, surpasses in both advancement and modernization compared to its American counterpart.

The Russian leader’s comments come in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, with Putin consistently warning against increased Western intervention and its potential to escalate to nuclear confrontation.
