Tom Hardy’s Venom 3 Renamed “Venom: The Last Dance” with New Release Date

San Francisco: Following the triumph of the first two installments in the Marvel Universe superhero series Venom, fans have eagerly anticipated the third chapter. The latest addition to the Venom franchise has now been officially christened “Venom: The Last Dance”. Furthermore, Sony Pictures has unveiled the revised release date for the film, now slated for October 25, 2024, moving up from its previously announced November 8 schedule.

According to Variety, specific plot details for “Venom: The Last Dance” remain under wraps, but audiences can expect the return of Tom Hardy as the formidable Eddie Brock/Venom. Joining Hardy are Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Clark Backo in undisclosed roles. The enigmatic Eddie Brock/Venom last graced screens in the post-credits scene of 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.

Adding to the anticipation, Kelly Marcel will make her directorial debut with this project, also contributing to the screenplay alongside Tom Hardy. Notable producers include Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Hutch Parker, Marcel, and Hardy himself. The franchise’s initial two entries, 2018’s “Venom” directed by Ruben Fleischer and its 2021 sequel “Venom: Let Andy Serkis direct carnage”, collectively amassed approximately $1.3 billion at the global box office.
