One Seriously Injured on Flight to New Zealand, 50 Treated in Sydney

Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos and panic onboard the flight during the turbulence. Emergency responders swiftly provided assistance upon the aircraft's landing, with medical teams attending to those in need.

Reports from Sydney indicate that on the 11th of March, approximately at 3:58 pm, Chilean LATAM Airlines Flight 800 en route to Auckland, New Zealand, experienced a significant tremor, resulting in injuries among passengers and crew.

New Zealand media sources reveal that upon the flight’s arrival, around 50 individuals received medical treatment, with one person reported to be in critical condition.

Most of the passengers treated suffered minor injuries, believed to have been caused by the aircraft’s shaking due to what was described as a “technical problem.” Additionally, several passengers recounted experiencing a sudden descent of the plane during the incident.

Authorities are likely to investigate the cause of the tremor and the circumstances surrounding the technical issue to ensure the safety of future flights.
