OpenAI is currently testing the option to designate ChatGPT as the default digital assistant on Android devices. This potential integration would empower users to activate the AI chatbot using the power button, pose inquiries via voice commands, and receive verbal responses using the Read Aloud feature.
Utilizing the Read Aloud feature is straightforward for web users, who simply click the ‘Read Aloud’ button displayed at the bottom of the response. Mobile users, on the other hand, can activate the feature by tapping and holding ChatGPT’s text response before selecting the ‘Read Aloud’ button.
Although OpenAI is gradually rolling out the Read Aloud feature to all users, it may take some time before it becomes available on every account.
