New York: In a monumental stride, Microsoft, the formidable U.S. software giant, unveils plans to fortify Spain’s artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud infrastructure with a staggering $2.1 billion investment over the next two years. Brad Smith, the company’s Vice Chair and President, revealed this ambitious initiative via a post on the social media platform X.
This momentous announcement closely follows Microsoft’s recent pledge of a substantial 3.2 billion euros ($3.45 billion) investment dedicated to AI ventures in Germany, also slated for a two-year period.
