Ukrainian Strike Devastates Electrical Factory in Bryansk, Russia

Moscow: Ukrainian forces targeted and destroyed a factory in Russia’s Bryansk region, causing widespread damage to the facility, according to a statement issued by the regional governor on Sunday.

Governor Alexander Bogomaz said via Telegram that the strike demolished both the workshops and administrative buildings of a factory located in the village of Suzemka. The Bryansk region, situated in the far western part of Russia, shares a border with both Ukraine and Belarus.

While Bogomaz did not specify the type of facility, Russian-linked Telegram channel Mash reported that the factory was involved in the production of electrical equipment, including transformers. The channel claimed that the site was hit by a Grad multiple-launch rocket system.

Mash also shared footage of a thick column of smoke rising above the factory premises. International news agency Reuters noted that it was unable to independently verify the authenticity of the video.
