New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a resolute warning to Pakistan following the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people were killed and many others were injured. Speaking from Bihar, during his visit to Madhubani for the National Panchayati Raj Day celebrations, PM Modi vowed that those behind the attack would face a punishment beyond their imagination.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi emphasized India’s unyielding commitment to combat terrorism. “We will identify and punish every terrorist and their supporters. The time has come to eradicate the remaining terrorist strongholds”, he stated. This came two days after the brutal Pahalgam attack, which sent shockwaves throughout the nation.

The Prime Minister underscored the collective resolve of the nation, assuring the public that justice would be served. “The magnitude of the punishment will be so severe that the terrorists would never have imagined such consequences”, he declared. Expressing solidarity with the victims’ families, PM Modi reinforced that India’s spirit would never be broken by terrorism.
India, he asserted, would pursue the perpetrators to the ends of the Earth, leaving no stone unturned in seeking justice. PM Modi’s remarks come as the nation mourns the loss of innocent lives in the attack. “The country is in pain after this tragedy, but we stand united with the families of the victims”, he said.
He also acknowledged the global support received during this challenging time, thanking foreign leaders and countries that stood with India in its fight against terrorism.
PM Modi’s statements were followed by a moment of silence in honor of the victims. “Let us all stand together in grief and observe a moment of silence for the innocent lives lost”, he added. The Prime Minister also led the gathering in chanting ‘Om Shanti’, as a tribute to those who perished in the attack.
In the aftermath of the attack, the Indian government has called for an all-party meeting in Parliament, scheduled for later today. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will lead the meeting, which will address security concerns and discuss the steps forward in the wake of the tragedy.
As India rallies together in the fight against terror, the message from PM Modi is clear: terrorism will not go unpunished, and the willpower of over 1.4 billion Indians will break the back of terror and its masterminds.
