White House Stresses ‘All Hell to Pay’ if Iran Pursues Nuclear Weapon

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is set to meet with an Iranian delegation in Oman on Saturday.

Washington: The White House has issued a stern warning to Iran, with President Donald Trump making clear there will be “all hell to pay” should Tehran proceed with developing a nuclear weapon. The declaration comes just ahead of scheduled talks between U.S. and Iranian delegations in Oman.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reiterated Trump’s firm stance on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear capabilities.

“President Trump’s ultimate objective is to ensure that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon,” Leavitt stated. “But he’s made it very clear to the Iranians, and his national security team will as well, that all options are on the table, and Iran has a choice to make. You can agree to President Trump’s demand, or there will be all hell to pay, and that’s how the president feels. He feels very strongly about it.”

Leavitt emphasized that while Trump supports a diplomatic resolution, he is prepared to consider all avenues if negotiations fail.

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is set to meet with an Iranian delegation in Oman on Saturday. According to Iranian state media, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will represent Iran, with Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi facilitating the discussions as an intermediary.
