Russia Warns NATO: Troop Deployment in Ukraine Will Have Dire Consequences

Mocking the British military, Rogozin made remarks about Scottish, Irish, and English soldiers, including their traditional uniforms, suggesting they would be easy targets for Russian forces.

Moscow: Russian officials have issued a strong warning to British, French, and German troops, stating that any Western “peacekeeping” forces deployed in Ukraine will face severe repercussions. Senior politicians in Moscow have expressed staunch opposition to the idea of NATO forces entering Ukraine, emphasizing that such an action would lead to catastrophic losses for European militaries.

Putin’s Allies Mock Western Leaders

Dmitry Rogozin, a Russian senator and former deputy prime minister under President Vladimir Putin, ridiculed British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer for even considering military intervention. Reports indicate that Rogozin challenged Starmer to send troops directly to Russia if he felt so confident.

Mocking the British military, Rogozin made remarks about Scottish, Irish, and English soldiers, including their traditional uniforms, suggesting they would be easy targets for Russian forces. He cited historical battles where British forces suffered heavy defeats and asserted that Russia would once again triumph over them.

As chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense, Industry and Transport, Education, and Science, and a former manager of Russia’s Glonass satellite navigation system, Rogozin claimed that NATO forces in Ukraine would be completely destroyed. He dismissed the threat posed by European armies, describing their potential intervention as “foolish” and asserting that they stood no chance against Russian forces.

Russia Claims NATO Forces Have No Chance of Winning

Apti Alaudinov, a major general in the Russian military and an ally of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, echoed Rogozin’s sentiments. He ridiculed Western military capabilities, arguing that even Ukraine had demonstrated more military strength than NATO in the current conflict.

Alaudinov asserted that if the West managed to transport 50,000 troops to the front lines, they would still be vastly outmatched by Russia’s battle-hardened forces. He claimed that NATO was no longer the formidable military alliance it once was and questioned the United States’ long-term commitment to supporting European allies.

Russia Threatens Full-Scale Mobilization

Alaudinov further warned that Russia could mobilize up to two million soldiers if necessary. He stated that any NATO attempt to send troops into Ukraine would result in unprecedented devastation for Europe. Emphasizing Russia’s readiness to endure any hardships to achieve victory, he declared that divine favor was on Russia’s side.

The Russian general reinforced his message by referencing historical battles, asserting that Russia has consistently emerged victorious in warfare. He cautioned Western leaders against underestimating Russia’s military strength, warning that any direct confrontation would end in disaster for NATO forces.
