WASHINGTON, D.C.: World leaders extended a wave of congratulations to Donald Trump following his historic victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, marking his return to the White House. From Ukraine to Israel, and from France to Turkey, prominent global figures celebrated Trump’s comeback, emphasizing hopes for strong bilateral relations and enhanced global cooperation.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was among the first to offer congratulations, expressing optimism for continued U.S. support in Ukraine’s ongoing conflict with Russia. Zelenskyy recalled his earlier discussions with Trump on their shared vision for a strategic partnership and hopes for achieving peace through strength.

“Congratulations to Donald Trump on his impressive election victory! I am hopeful that we will bring about a just peace in Ukraine together,” Zelenskyy stated, referencing their shared commitment to addressing Russian aggression.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a personal message to Trump and his family, celebrating “history’s greatest comeback” and expressing anticipation for a renewed commitment to the U.S.-Israel alliance.

“Dear Donald and Melania Trump, congratulations on history’s greatest comeback! This is a huge victory!” Netanyahu shared in a message signed by both him and his wife, Sara.

French President Emmanuel Macron took to social media to congratulate Trump, signaling a readiness to collaborate once again.

“Congratulations, President @realDonaldTrump. Ready to work together as we did for four years, with respect and ambition, for more peace and prosperity,” Macron posted on X.

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also sent his congratulations, referring to Trump as “my friend” and expressing a hope for strengthened U.S.-Turkey relations and resolutions to regional and global crises.

“I hope Turkey-US relations will strengthen, that regional and global crises, especially the Palestinian issue and the Russia-Ukraine war, will come to an end,” Erdoğan wrote on X.
