Ukraine Poised to Become NATO’s Second-Strongest Military in Europe

Highlighting the broader implications of Ukraine’s NATO membership, Braze said that it would contribute to a more secure Europe.

Warsaw: Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze has stated that Ukraine will possess one of the most powerful military forces in Europe upon joining NATO. Her comments were made during the Warsaw Security Forum on October 1.

Braze emphasized that following its accession to NATO, Ukraine will rank as the second-strongest military power in Europe, behind the United States and Turkey. She commended Ukraine for its battle-hardened experience and unwavering political commitment.

Highlighting the broader implications of Ukraine’s NATO membership, Braze said that it would contribute to a more secure Europe. “Ukraine’s military experience and its resources will be a big help to Europe’s security and prosperity,” she noted in a press release.
