Cairo: At least five people were killed following an Israeli air strike on Tubas in the West Bank, according to a report by the Palestinian Red Crescent on Wednesday. The humanitarian organization confirmed that its crews retrieved the bodies of the victims from the site of the bombing and transferred them to a nearby hospital.
In a statement, the Israeli army said, “As part of the counterterrorism activity, an IAF aircraft struck an armed terrorist cell a short while ago in the area of Tubas.” The air strike is part of ongoing military operations in the region.

The Palestinian Red Crescent continues to provide medical assistance to the affected areas, though the humanitarian situation remains critical amid the escalating violence in the West Bank.
