President Lai Grateful for Micron’s Trust in Taiwan’s Tech Innovation

Taipei: Taiwan President Lai Ching-te expressed gratitude to Micron’s Chief Executive Sanjay Mehrotra on Friday for the company’s ongoing investment and trust in Taiwan. Their rare public meeting highlights Taiwan’s pivotal role in global tech, despite political complexities.

In a video released by the president’s office, Lai thanked Mehrotra for “showing trust and support for Taiwan.” He emphasized Micron’s long-term commitment to Taiwan and its role in advancing DRAM process technology, critical for the tech industry.
