Cairo: Israeli forces have escalated their offensive in Gaza, with tanks advancing into the Jabalia camp in the north and airstrikes pounding Rafah in the south. Residents and Hamas media report heavy fire from air and ground forces, with tanks attempting to penetrate deep into Jabalia. Meanwhile, Rafah faces relentless bombardments, leaving parts of the city in ruins.

Saed, a resident of Jabalia, describes the devastation: “They were bombing everywhere, including near schools housing displaced people. War is restarting, this is how it looks in Jabalia.” High-rise buildings in Al-Sabra and Zeitoun are among the targets, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
