Mumbai: Setting the bar high for fashion innovation, Janhvi Kapoor once again captivated the fashion world with her daring embrace of coquette-core, proving its enduring charm. Her recent choice of Alessandra Rich’s mini lace-up dress exuded a playful vibe, making waves in the style circuit.
In a homage to timeless glamour, Janhvi selected Mumbai’s iconic Opera House as the backdrop for her fashion statement. The dress, adorned in a black and white plaid check pattern, featured short-puffed sleeves, a lace-up fastening, high-low hemline, bodycon fit, and a sweetheart plunging neckline, priced at around Rs. 1.74 lakh. Janhvi paired this ensemble with pearl earrings from Perle, statement rings from Hazoorilal Legacy Jewellers, and a sleek necklace bearing the initials ‘Shikhu’, speculated to represent her boyfriend. Completing the look were white Jimmy Choo pointed heels.
Courtesy of makeup artist Tanvi Chemburkar, Janhvi’s face radiated with subtle, clean makeup, accentuating her bold eyes, contoured cheeks, blush, and a brown shade of lipstick. Her luscious locks were elegantly styled into a half ponytail, with a section gracefully cascading down her shoulders.
This isn’t Janhvi’s first foray into the coquette-core trend. Previously, for an ad shoot, she dazzled in a black mini dress adorned with small white polka dots, featuring a deep V neckline secured with pearl-embellished bows. Opting for minimalist jewelry and subtle makeup, Janhvi flawlessly complemented the attire.
In another striking appearance, Janhvi stunned in a denim cord set from international label self-portrait, comprising an embellished crop top paired with a high-waisted denim skirt adorned with three diamanté buttons. With minimal makeup and a simple half-open back-brushed hairdo, Janhvi effortlessly exuded elegance.
