Trump Organization Eyes Expansion in Vietnam with New High-Rise Project

Eric Trump’s visit follows the Vietnamese government’s recent approval of a separate $1.5 billion golf resort project linked to the Trump Organization.

Hanoi: The Trump Organization, in partnership with a local Vietnamese company, is exploring the development of a high-rise tower in Ho Chi Minh City, according to a Vietnamese government document reviewed by the international news agency Reuters. This potential project coincides with an expected visit to Vietnam by Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, later this week.

The internal government communication indicates that city officials have been invited to “attend a dinner party with Eric Trump, senior vice president of the Trump Organization,” on Thursday evening.

Eric Trump’s visit follows the Vietnamese government’s recent approval of a separate $1.5 billion golf resort project linked to the Trump Organization. This comes at a time when Vietnam is in negotiations with the United States to sidestep potential punitive trade tariffs, highlighting the broader strategic and economic significance of U.S.-Vietnam ties.
