London: K-pop sensation Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is making its highly anticipated European tour debut, feeling recharged and more united after a two-month break from the spotlight, the group shared.
The group’s label, Big Hit Music—also managing global K-pop sensation BTS—announced in January that TXT would be taking a “long-term break” to rest and spend quality time with their families. This decision followed group leader Soobin’s announcement that he was taking time off for health reasons.
“It was the first time we took such a long break. It gave us time to reflect on many things,” member Hueningkai said in an interview shortly before the group’s first UK performance at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday.
“I think it actually brought us closer together and allowed us to think more about ourselves as a team and as artists,” Hueningkai added. During the hiatus, he enjoyed a family trip to South Korea’s Jeju Island, indulged in good food, and visited Japan with friends.
“Rest is as important as working because rest is always inspiring me a lot,” noted fellow member Taehyun.
TXT, composed of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai, debuted in March 2019. Over the past six years, they have built a dedicated global fanbase known as “MOA” (Moments Of Alwaysness), thanks to their unique pop-rock sound and hit tracks like “Blue Hour,” “Sugar Rush Ride,” and “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” featuring South Korean singer Seori.

Their latest album, Minisode 3: Tomorrow, ranked as the 10th best-selling album of 2024 globally, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). The organization also ranked TXT seventh on its Top 10 list of global recording artists in 2023.
TXT’s European tour, which began in Barcelona, Spain, on March 20, will take the group to major cities including Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam. Fans can expect an exciting and dynamic performance, the members promised.

“It’s a really colorful and diverse setlist, so I think it will be really fun for the fans. There are solo stages that we haven’t shown before,” Hueningkai revealed.
Adding to the excitement, Beomgyu is gearing up for his solo debut with the mixtape Panic, set for release on March 27. As for new group music, the members remained tight-lipped, teasing that fans would have to wait and see what’s next.
