LOS ANGELES, USA — The 30th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards celebrated the finest performances in film and television on Sunday night, with major wins for Shōgun and Only Murders in the Building. The star-studded event, held in Los Angeles, also honored industry veteran Jane Fonda with the prestigious SAG Life Achievement Award for her extraordinary career and humanitarian contributions.

Timothée Chalamet Becomes Youngest Best Actor Winner

Timothée Chalamet made history by becoming the youngest recipient of the Best Actor (Motion Picture) award for his role in A Complete Unknown. Accepting the honor, Chalamet said,

“I’m in pursuit of greatness. I know people don’t usually talk like that, but I want to be one of the greats. I’m inspired by the greats.”

Meanwhile, Demi Moore won Best Actress (Motion Picture) for her performance in The Substance, marking a significant moment in her career.

Ensemble Victories: ‘Shōgun’ and ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Triumph

In the ensemble categories, Only Murders in the Building secured the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, with co-lead Selena Gomez joking in her acceptance speech, “We never win!”

Shōgun, the historical drama, continued its dominance by winning Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and multiple individual honors.
