Israel to Allow Mobile Homes, Construction Equipment into Gaza Amid Hostage Talks

Prime Minister Netanyahu is working to secure the release of six living hostages and retrieve four deceased hostages.

A senior Israeli official has confirmed that Israel will begin permitting the entry of mobile homes and heavy construction equipment into Gaza under strict controls, as part of efforts to expedite the release of six living hostages.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is making immense efforts to secure the release of the six living hostages who remain as part of phase one of the hostage-ceasefire deal, as well as four hostages who are not alive,” the official stated.

Under the agreement, Israel has committed to allowing these materials into Gaza following rigorous inspections. “In accordance with the negotiations, and on the condition that Hamas upholds the agreement, Israel will begin allowing this in a controlled and phased manner,” the official added.

As per the terms of the agreement, Hamas is expected to release four bodies on Thursday, followed by three live hostages on Saturday.

IDF Conducts Controlled Explosion Near Lebanese Border

Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out a large controlled demolition near Kfar Shouba in southern Lebanon before withdrawing from the area, according to Lebanese media reports. No further details were provided regarding the operation.
