Following the overwhelming success of last year, Gulf Oil remains the main sponsor for IBW, Asia’s premier motorcycling festival, for the second consecutive year which celebrated its milestone 11th anniversary with resounding success in December 2024. This year’s ride once again sets the stage for a thrilling celebration of motorcycling camaraderie, adventure, and community spirit.
The Kolkata ride of the 2024 edition saw an impressive turnout of over 200+ bikers from diverse regions and backgrounds. Riders gathered at Throttle Shottle Moto Café, Rajarhat to embark on a thrilling 41 kilometre journey to RV’s Motoclub in Bhadreswar, all while enjoying the scenic routes and the spirit of the open road. Safety remained a top priority, with participants attending a ‘safety riding’ session before the journey, while IBW Marshals led groups of riders, ensuring a well-coordinated, secure ride. Gulf Oil also provided fluorescent safety jackets to all riders, reinforcing its commitment to road safety. The event concluded with a fun push-up and burpee challenge at the endpoint, further energizing the biking fraternity.
