China has inaugurated its first heterogeneous humanoid robot training base in Shanghai’s Pudong District, setting a new benchmark in the practical application and large-scale development of humanoid robotics. The training facility, located in the Model Magic Community, is designed to accommodate over 100 humanoid robots simultaneously. The aim is to enhance the capabilities of these robots through rigorous training, enabling them to perform a diverse range of tasks more efficiently. This initiative is part of China’s broader strategy to lead in the global robotics market, focusing on real-world applications and data-driven optimization.
According to recent reports, the base will collect data from the robots’ training sessions to send back to developers for further improvement and optimization of the robots’ functionalities.
