IDF Reports 25 Rockets Launched from Lebanon, UAVs Intercepted

Shortly before this barrage, the IDF also intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Lebanon.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that approximately 25 rockets were launched from Lebanon today morning. While some of these rockets were intercepted, others fell in open areas without causing any damage or injuries. An additional rocket was fired separately toward Kiryat Shmona, landing in the vicinity, according to military sources.

Shortly before this barrage, the IDF also intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Lebanon. The UAVs did not cross into Israeli territory, and as a result, no warning sirens were activated.

Hezbollah Anti-Tank Missile Unit Commander Killed in IDF Airstrike

In a separate development, the IDF announced that Ghareeb Alshuja’a, the commander of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan forces’ anti-tank missile unit, was killed in an Israeli airstrike. Alshuja’a was reportedly responsible for overseeing missile attacks toward the Ramot Naftali area.

The airstrike took place in the Meiss Ej-Jabal region, with coordination from the IDF’s 91st Division. The IDF noted that over the past day, they have targeted various Hezbollah assets in southern Lebanon, including weapons warehouses, an observation post, and rocket launchers.

Additionally, IDF troops uncovered and destroyed rocket launchers aimed at Israel and eliminated several gunmen in a building near Israeli forces.

Fatalities and Injuries Reported in Kibbutz Yir’on Following Missile Attack

A 27-year-old Thai worker was killed, and another person was injured in an anti-tank missile attack on Kibbutz Yir’on, located near the Lebanon border. The Magen David Adom ambulance service confirmed the fatality.

In a later report, two people were said to have been wounded by anti-tank missile fire in the same area. Their conditions remain unclear.

Northern Israeli Communities Advised to Stay Indoors Amid Terror Threat

Following a suspected terrorist infiltration, residents of several northern Israeli communities, including Rehaniya, Kerem Ben Zimra, Dalton, and Kadita, have been advised to stay indoors. Security forces are actively searching the area, although no unusual activity has been reported as yet, according to Ynet.
