Kyiv: At least nine civilians, including a child, were injured late Sunday as a result of Russian air strikes on the southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia, Ukrainian officials reported on Monday.
Ukraine’s Interior Ministry stated on the Telegram messaging app that rescuers evacuated residents from multiple damaged apartment buildings. According to preliminary information, Russia used KAB guided aerial bombs in the strikes on Zaporizhzhia, the ministry added.
Reports from Reuters have not independently verified the details of the attack. Russia has yet to provide any official comment.
