Rapper Rich Homie Quan Passes Away at 34

New York: American rapper Rich Homie Quan, widely known for his chart-topping hits “Type of Way” and “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)”, passed away on Thursday at the age of 34, according to media reports.

The rapper, born Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was found unresponsive at his home in Atlanta. TMZ reported that the news was confirmed by his family and a representative from the Fulton County morgue.

Officials from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office have not yet released any official statement or details regarding the cause of death.

Rich Homie Quan, who launched his music career in 2011, quickly rose to fame within the hip-hop scene. His single “Type of Way” reached No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning him a spot in the mainstream music industry.
