New York: Apple has officially announced the launch event for its highly anticipated iPhone 16 series. The invitation, adorned with the tagline “It’s Glowtime,” reveals that the special event will take place on September 9. During the event, Apple is expected to unveil four new models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

What to Expect from the iPhone 16 Event

The iPhone 16 series is anticipated to introduce several exciting features, including new advancements in Apple Intelligence, although these may be rolled out in a subsequent software update. One of the rumored highlights is a new Capture button, designed to instantly take photos or record videos directly from the camera app. This physical capacitive button is expected to offer force-sensitive half-press functionality for actions such as locking exposure, adjusting focus, and zooming in or out.

In addition to the iPhone 16 series, Apple is expected to announce three new Apple Watch models: Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3, and an updated, more affordable Apple Watch SE.
