US Forces Eliminate Houthi Missile Launcher and Uncrewed Surface Vessel in Yemen

Tampa, Florida: U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Friday that its forces successfully destroyed an Iranian-backed Houthi missile launcher and an uncrewed surface vessel within Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen over the past 24 hours.

In addition, CENTCOM confirmed the destruction of two Houthi uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Red Sea. The operations were disclosed in a post on X, where CENTCOM emphasized the threat posed by these weapons.

“These weapons presented a clear and imminent threat to U.S. and coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region,” CENTCOM stated.
