Kyiv: Russian military forces carried out shelling in the Nikopol and Myrivsk communities of the Dnipropetrovsk region on the morning of June 10, resulting in significant damage to local infrastructure.
Incident Overview
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, provided details of the attack via Telegram.
According to Lysak, the Russian army targeted the Nikopol district twice on the evening of June 9. The assault involved artillery fire on the Marganets community and the deployment of a kamikaze drone over the Pokrovsk community. These attacks caused damage to a greenhouse and a private fishing boat.

The following morning, June 10, both Nikopol and the Myrivsk community were subjected to renewed attacks.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the latest shelling.

Assessment of Damage
The shelling inflicted damage on four private residences, two outbuildings, a garage, gas furnaces, and a power line. Despite the significant property damage, no casualties were reported during the morning assault.
However, a 44-year-old woman sustained injuries during one of the previous day’s attacks on the district center. She received medical treatment and will undergo further outpatient care. Additionally, a rescuer was injured in the Pokrovsk community during the same period.
These incidents are part of the ongoing hostilities in the region, posing a threat to civilian lives and causing widespread destruction.
