In the wake of former President Donald Trump’s conviction in New York, his campaign has seen an unprecedented surge in fundraising, tallying an astonishing $52.8 million within a mere 24-hour period. This staggering figure translates to over $2 million pouring into the campaign coffers each hour, underscoring the enduring support Trump commands within his political base.
Furthermore, the Trump campaign revealed that over a third of these generous contributions originated from new donors, signalling a significant influx of fresh support. In a statement, the campaign emphasized the growing momentum behind Trump’s cause, attributing the surge in donations to increasing disillusionment with what they describe as “Biden election interference.”
