Dublin: A Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Dublin encountered severe turbulence on Sunday, resulting in injuries to twelve individuals, as reported by CNN.
The flight, which landed in Dublin shortly before 1 pm local time, was met by emergency services, including airport police and the fire and rescue department.

Dublin Airport released a statement confirming that six passengers and six crew members sustained injuries during the incident. The turbulence occurred while the Qatar Airways flight QR107 was flying over Turkey, according to the statement.

Despite the turbulence, Dublin Airport assured that operations remained unaffected, and they were actively assisting affected passengers and staff.

This incident follows another recent turbulence-related mishap involving a Singapore Airlines flight SQ321, which experienced sudden extreme turbulence over Myanmar. Tragically, a passenger with a heart condition lost his life, and over 100 other passengers sustained injuries during the flight to Singapore.
