Indian PM Modi Expresses Solidarity with Iranian People Amid Reports of President’s Helicopter ‘Crash’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi voiced profound concern on Sunday following reports of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s helicopter flight incident, affirming India’s unwavering support for the Iranian populace during this challenging time.

Reports emerged indicating that a helicopter transporting President Raisi, along with the country’s foreign minister and other officials, had purportedly crashed in the mountainous northwest region of Iran on Sunday. This event triggered a large-scale rescue operation in a forest enveloped by fog, with the public urged to offer prayers, as per media accounts.
