Beijing Accuses US of Fueling Ukrainian Crisis with “Cold War Mentality”

Moscow/Beijing: Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Wang Wenbin has pointed fingers at the US for exacerbating the Ukrainian conflict, citing Washington’s “Cold War-era mentality” as a key factor.

According to Tass, Wang emphasized, “The US, with its Cold War-era mentality, bears an irremediable responsibility for the emergence and escalation of the Ukrainian crisis.”

He criticized the US for perpetuating a cycle of confrontation rather than fostering peace in Ukraine.

Patel suggested that China’s support for Russia undermines its efforts to mend ties with Europe. He also indicated that China’s backing strengthens the Russian military-industrial complex, posing not only threats to Ukrainian security but also risks to European stability. “China cannot enhance relations with Europe if it continues to support Russia,” Patel emphasized.
