Moscow: Amid escalating conflict, Russian forces have seized control of five villages in Ukraine’s northeast, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Saturday. These developments mark a significant escalation in the ongoing hostilities between Russia and Ukraine.
Reportedly, Russian troops advanced into the villages of Borysivka, Ohirtseve, Pylna, Strilecha, and Pletenivka, situated within the contested “gray zone” along the border of Ukraine’s Kharkiv region and Russia.
