Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote at Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad during the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi exercised his voting rights at a polling booth set up at Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad, coinciding with the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. The school, located in the Ranip locality of the city, welcomed voters amid tight security measures.

Arriving at the polling station a little after 7:30 am, Prime Minister Modi was warmly greeted by Union Minister Amit Shah. Together, they proceeded to the booth amidst cheers and slogans of support from a large crowd gathered along the roadside.

During his brief interaction with supporters, Prime Minister Modi graciously signed an autograph for a fan on a portrait depicting him. Emphasizing the importance of democratic participation, he urged citizens to exercise their voting rights diligently, stating, “There is great importance of ‘daan’ in our country and in the same spirit, the countrymen should vote as much as possible. Four rounds of voting are still ahead.”

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi extended a message of caution to media personnel covering the elections, advising them to prioritize their health by staying hydrated: “Take care of your health and drink a lot of water.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also participated in the electoral process, casting his vote along with his family members at a polling booth in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Today’s voting phase covers 93 constituencies across 10 states and a Union Territory, marking a crucial step in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
