Tokyo: Fans in Japan are in for a treat as Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ is gearing up for a spectacular release in Japanese theaters this July. With the recent unveiling of the poster and release promo, ‘Salaar’ is all set to hit screens on July 5. Hombale Films, the esteemed production house behind blockbusters like ‘KGF’ and ‘Salaar’, took to their official X (formerly known as Twitter) page to share the Japan release poster and teaser, building anticipation among fans. Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Neel, ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ had already made waves as one of the highest-grossing films of 2023.
Prabhas has garnered a massive following in Japan, primarily due to the phenomenal success of ‘Baahubali’. Now, his latest triumph, ‘Salaar’, is poised for a grand debut in the Land of the Rising Sun. While it remains uncertain whether Prabhas or Prashanth Neel will grace the Japanese screening in person, excitement among fans is palpable.
Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ is an action-packed drama featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, the film’s second installment is titled ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam’.
