India: Bihar Man Ties the Knot with Mother-in-Law

Patna (India): In a startling turn of events, a man from India’s state Bihar has married his mother-in-law after their clandestine affair was uncovered by none other than his father-in-law. Reports suggest that the couple even formalized their relationship with a court marriage.

Sikandar Yadav, a 45-year-old father of two, found himself drawn to his mother-in-law, Geeta Devi (55), after his wife’s demise. Opting to reside with his in-laws during this period of mourning, Sikandar and Geeta’s relationship took an unexpected romantic turn.

The situation took a dramatic twist when Dileshwar Darve, Geeta’s husband, stumbled upon their affair and brought it to the attention of the village panchayat.

Facing the community and his father-in-law, Sikandar openly admitted his affection for Geeta, laying bare the complexities of their relationship.

Remarkably, Dileshwar Darve, along with the village panchayat, consented to the union between Sikandar and Geeta. The father-in-law even facilitated the arrangements for their marriage, signaling a rather unconventional acceptance within the community.

The unusual love story between Sikandar and Geeta has sparked both curiosity and debate within their community. While some have praised their courage to defy societal norms and pursue happiness, others have expressed skepticism and disapproval.

Despite the challenges and scrutiny they may face, Sikandar and Geeta remain resolute in their decision to be together, finding solace and companionship in each other’s company.

Their union serves as a reminder that love knows no bounds and can transcend conventional expectations, leaving a lasting impact on those around them. As they embark on this new chapter of their lives, Sikandar and Geeta are determined to navigate the journey together, hand in hand, embracing the love that brought them together against all odds.
