The heightened tensions surrounding a potential Iranian attack on Israel prompted the Israeli military to declare full readiness. IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari emphasized the country’s preparedness for various scenarios during a press conference, stating, “We are ready for attack and defense using a variety of capabilities that the IDF has, and also ready with our strategic partners.”
Part of this readiness involved a visit from the head of US Central Command (CENTCOM), Gen. Michael Kurilla, who arrived in Israel for discussions with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi. Their meeting aimed to assess the ongoing security challenges in the region, underscoring the seriousness with which both nations are treating the current situation.
