Mumbai: Renowned filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is immersed in the grand production of his epic venture, “Ramayana”. With filming already underway, the project has garnered significant attention. However, recent events involving leaked images featuring Lara Dutta and Arun Govil from the set have sparked concerns. Consequently, stringent measures, including a no-phone policy, have been enforced to safeguard the project’s integrity.
Recent incidents concerning leaked photos from the set of “Ramayana” have stirred a proactive response from director Nitesh Tiwari. In an effort to mitigate further breaches of confidentiality, Tiwari has imposed strict regulations, notably prohibiting the use of phones on set.
India Today reports that the director has gone to great lengths, instructing additional personnel and crew members to remain off-set during filming sessions. Access to the set is now restricted solely to essential actors and technicians required for scene execution, with stringent controls in place to deter unauthorized entry.

During a recent shoot on April 4th, Arun Govil, essaying the role of Dashrath, was observed engaging with actors portraying young Ram, Lakshman, and Bharat. Lara Dutta, as Kaikeyi, made a striking appearance adorned in a resplendent purple ensemble, while Sheeba Chadha donned a maroon lehenga and intricate silver jewelry in her portrayal of Surpnakha.

In the midst of these developments, notable actors such as Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash are yet to commence filming. Reports indicate that Kapoor will undergo extensive vocal training to refine his portrayal. Tiwari aims to distinguish Kapoor’s voice in this role, ensuring it stands apart from his previous characters, with the actor reportedly embracing the challenge eagerly.
The stellar ensemble cast of “Ramayana” boasts luminaries such as Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. Lara Dutta takes on the role of Kaikeyi, while Arun Govil portrays Raja Dashrath. Sakshi Tanwar embodies the character of Mandodari, with Navin Polishetty assuming the role of Lakshman.
