New York: According to a report from the Telegram channel WW3.INFO Battlefield Research, a representative from China’s Ministry of Defense purportedly stated on Saturday that Beijing stands prepared to intervene should the United States or NATO initiate an attack on Russia. This declaration comes amidst escalating tensions between the intergovernmental military alliance and Moscow following Sweden’s recent accession to NATO earlier this month.
The channel cites a Chinese defense representative as stating, “China is ready to intervene militarily anywhere if the US or NATO decide to attack Russia.” Verification of this assertion is currently being sought from the relevant department.

Earlier this week, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a stark warning to NATO and the Western powers, asserting Moscow’s readiness for nuclear conflict in response to any deployment of US troops to Ukraine. Putin delivered these remarks in advance of the March 15-17 election, widely anticipated to secure him another six-year term in office.
Addressing the possibility of nuclear confrontation, Putin remarked, “Apart from (US President Joe) Biden, there are enough other experts in the sphere of Russian-American relations and strategic restraint. So I don’t think that everything is going to go head-on here, but we are ready for it.”
Meanwhile, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg urged member states to swiftly dispatch additional ammunition to Ukraine. This plea coincides with ongoing deliberations in the US Congress regarding the provision of billions of dollars in aid to Kyiv.
Stoltenberg stressed the necessity for heightened contributions from the US, Canada, and Europe, emphasizing the importance of a sustained commitment to enable Ukrainian forces to strategize effectively. He made these remarks during a press conference.
