The official X (formerly Twitter) handle of ‘RRR’ disclosed that the film has been captivating audiences in Japanese theaters for nearly one and a half years. Their tweet exclaimed, “It’s been close to 1.5 years since the theatrical release in Japan. Since then, it’s still running in theaters, and the show on March 18th sold out in less than a minute. With pandemic restrictions now lifted, SS Rajamouli eagerly anticipates his journey to Japan for the special screening on March 18. The screening venues, Shinjuku Wald 9 and Shinjuku Piccadilly, are set to host the event.
