Kartik Aaryan Commences Filming for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, Heralding It as the “Biggest Film” of His Career

Mumbai: Kartik Aaryan, whose last outing was in the 2023 film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, has embarked on his next cinematic venture, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the actor announced the commencement of shooting for what he deems the “biggest film” of his career.

Sharing a photo of himself engaged in prayer, Kartik captioned, “Starting The Biggest Film Of My Career Today #Shubharambh #BhoolBhulaiyaa3.”

The movie, featuring Vidya Balan and Tripti Dimri alongside Kartik, marks the third installment of the Hindi horror-comedy franchise ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. The series debuted in 2007 under the direction of Priyadarshan.

Prior to the commencement of filming, Kartik was spotted visiting T-Series’ headquarters accompanied by actress Triptii Dimri, known for her role in the hit film ‘Animal’. The purpose of their meeting appeared to be centered around ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’.

Kartik Aaryan previously teased fans with a glimpse of a mystery lady from the upcoming installment. He shared a portion of a jigsaw puzzle featuring an actress’ image on Instagram, sparking speculation among netizens who swiftly identified Triptii Dimri.

In his caption, Kartik wrote, “Solve kijiye Is Bhool Bhulaiyaa ko #Bb3MysteryGirl #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 #Diwali2024”.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, who also helmed the second installment, the film follows the successful ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, directed by Priyadarshan, which starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya. The second part featuring Kartik, Tabu, and Kiara Advani, emerged as one of the highest-grossing Hindi releases of 2022, accumulating over Rs 250 crore at the box office.
