Mumbai: Renowned actor Shatrughan Sinha, celebrated for his memorable performances in classics like “Kaala Patthar” and “Choron Ki Baaraat”, is gearing up for his comeback to the screen with the web series “Gangs of Ghaziabad”.
This marks Sinha’s maiden venture into the realm of OTT platforms, promising an exciting new chapter in his illustrious career. Joining him in this venture are esteemed actors Ashutosh Rana, Pradeep Nagar, Jatin Sarna, Abhimanyu Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Mahira Sharma, and Sunny Leone. Produced under the banner of Suman Talkies by Vinay Kumar and Pradeep Nagar, the series is written and directed by Nagender Choudhary, delving into the underworld of Western Uttar Pradesh during the 90s.

His cinematic debut in “Sajan” in 1969 paved the way for a stellar career, with iconic roles in films like “Kalicharan” and “Dostana”, earning him the moniker of “Bihari Babu”. Sinha’s contributions have been recognized with nominations for the Filmfare Awards and a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
In addition to his illustrious film career, Shatrughan Sinha has been actively involved in national politics, initially with the Bharatiya Janata Party and later transitioning to the Indian National Congress in 2019.
