Nykaa’s #JustSayThanks Campaign Empowers Women to Embrace Compliments

A recent study conducted by Nykaa revealed that a striking 64% of women in India feel uneasy when receiving compliments. They often downplay their achievements, deflect praise, reciprocate compliments, or simply dismiss them altogether.

In response to these findings, Nykaa’s #JustSayThanks campaign seeks to initiate conversations about women’s discomfort with compliments and encourages them to accept and acknowledge praise gracefully.

The campaign extends beyond highlighting statistics; it strives to create supportive environments where women can openly discuss and address this behavior. Collaborations with influential figures like Faye D’Souza and renowned creators such as Sakshi Shivdasani, Zervaan Bunshah, and Srishti Garg aim to provide diverse perspectives on this issue. Additionally, partnerships with the Moment Of Silence Podcast and Divija Bhasin aim to delve into the underlying reasons behind women’s reluctance to accept compliments.
