Reflecting on the hurdles faced during production, Boney Kapoor, in an interview with The New Indian last year, revealed the challenges posed by the pandemic and unpredictable weather, leading to significant delays. The extended lease of filming locations and managing large crowds added to the production woes, further exacerbated by inadequate insurance compensation for the setbacks.
Apart from Ajay Devgn, Priyamani and Gajraj Rao essay crucial roles in the film, amplifying the excitement surrounding its release. The teaser, unveiled last March, intensified anticipation, keeping fans eagerly awaiting updates ever since.
In addition to “Maidaan”, Ajay Devgn is immersing himself in the production of “Singham Again”, the much-anticipated sequel in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Set to elevate the franchise to new heights, the film introduces fresh faces like Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, alongside the return of Kareena Kapoor Khan. Ajay Devgn’s upcoming projects include “Shaitaan”, “Auron Mein Kahaan Dam Tha”, “Raid 2”, “Son Of Sardaar 2”, and “Dhamaal 4”.
