Ranbir Kapoor Embodies Simplicity as Lord Ram in ‘Ramayana’ Adaptation

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor recently underwent a look test for his portrayal of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming project, “Ramayana”. According to media reports, Kapoor’s appearance as Lord Ram will embody simplicity and minimalism.

Reports indicate that a photo shoot was conducted with Ranbir to finalize his portrayal of Lord Ram. While preparations for other characters, such as Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh, are underway, Kapoor remains the focal point of attention.

It’s been noted that Kapoor won’t bulk up for the role, as director Nitesh Tiwari prefers to showcase his natural lean physique. Images of Kapoor in a bare-bodied look, adorned with golden and gem-studded ornaments, have garnered praise from those who have seen them.

The filmmakers are keen on maintaining a simplistic appearance for Lord Ram and Sita Mata, eschewing heavy jewelry and elaborate costumes. Director Tiwari is meticulously overseeing all aspects of pre-production to ensure a seamless filming process.

As previously mentioned by IndiaToday.in, Tiwari has assembled a specialized team to oversee diction and dialogue aspects for “Ramayana”. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on the film’s costume design and the appearance of its key characters. Sources have revealed that Tiwari has enlisted a diction expert to collaborate closely with Ranbir Kapoor, ensuring that his character’s dialogue delivery aligns with the film’s overarching vision.
