In what promises to be a significant boost for his constituency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to embark on a visit to Varanasi in the last week of February. During this visit, he is slated to inaugurate and lay the foundation for 25 key development projects, collectively valued at approximately Rs 6,000 crore.
While formal confirmation of the Prime Minister’s visit is yet to be received, Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma has indicated that work on the slated development initiatives has been expedited in preparation. Among the noteworthy projects scheduled for inauguration are the Amul plant at Karkhiyaon and the HPCL LPG bottling plant.
